14258326597_cdc65d9976_oAs a manager of employees, you are responsible for helping to set starting salaries (in consultation with your HR Partner and your own manager); determining raises, bonuses or other types of compensation in relation to employee performance evaluations; and working with your SBO to maximize your personnel budget to best meet business needs. You may have additional budget responsibilities, such as expenditures for your unit. USC managers are expected to be careful stewards of the budget entrusted to them.
