In addition, USC’s WorkWell Center provides an array of services to help you build a great team, as well, including departmental education and consultation. The WorkWell Center’s professional staff (who can be reached at 213-821-0800) are uniquely trained and experienced in guiding a wide range of matters pertaining to human relations. This help is offered to USC managers and other employees with supervisory roles and responsibilities, and includes:
- Help dealing with troubled employees or challenging co-workers
- Consultation and training on substance abuse and mental health problems in the workplace
- Conflict management
- Coaching for improved management and leadership effectiveness
- Critical incident response
- Addressing departmental change, stress and workgroup dynamics
- Group facilitation
- Staff development/in-service education
- Facilitating employee referrals to employee assistance
